François Chalet – Short Stories

Playful, charming, humorous – with his unmistakeable visual signature, François Chalet creates stories which find their narrative space in a variety of presentational contexts. Ranging from illustrations on posters and in magazines to visuals in clubs, as well as installations in theatres, festival spaces and exhibition areas, they invite playful audience interaction. He refers to his artistic work, which includes performances and multiplatform projects, as “expanded animation”, through which he seeks out immersive opportunities. His stylishly minimalist character designs, with their clear graphic idiom, remain instantly recognizable.
